End of the Summer Update

NAG thanks you!
The September 3 meeting at Mardela Fire Station was a big success. Over 70 people attended and 18 more signatures were added to our petition against the sludge tank bringing the total to 99 signatures. It appears that we have the community backing to continue our fight.

Of particular interest are the instances when DAF was applied next to Westside Intermediate School in Hebron or at Long Life Treated Wood.

We strongly urge the County Council to place a moratorium on future tank construction in the county until the issues which we raised can be further studied.  
Send an email or letter to County Council President At-Large, John Cannon and cc all council members asking them to place a moratorium on future tank construction until the issue has been studied and changes made that will protect the citizens of the county.
