Good News
In my last post I was happy to report that the Wicomico County Council voted to place a 6 month moratorium of the permits for building DAF storage tanks. However, immediately after that the Wicomico County Executive, Bob Culver vetoed the council's bill. We are all grateful to the Wicomico County Council for overriding the executive's veto placing the moratorium on the tanks. Although the moratorium does not apply to the Porter Mill Road tank, we urge the council to do more fact finding about the storage of DAF during this 6-month time period and to consider steps to halt the implication of it.
