TRUCK RUNS OFF ROAD

On Sunday, October 18 2020, a DAF delivery truck ran off the side of Porter Mill Road across from the storage tank. This illustrates our concern, not only about the smell emitting from the tank, but about the huge increase of heavy vehicle traffic on our road. 

This photo shows the side of Porter Mill Road across from the tank BEFORE the truck ran off the road. This will most likely get worse. Wicomico County needs to stop this damage and insure motorist safety by closing down the tank.

These photos show the truck stuck on the side of the road. 

 

And here are the after effects. Soon this part of Porter Mill will be a swampy mess like the portions of the road close to Route 50. This will be a very dangerous scenario when the winter hits us with snow and ice. Is the County Council listening?
