COUNTY COUNCIL PUBLIC HEARING ON MORATORIUM

On Tuesday, November 17 at 10:AM the Wicomico County Council will hold a public hearing concerning the continuation of the moratorium on DAF tanks. The following is from the council's website:

IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD ON: 

Tuesday, November 17, 2020 

Commencing at 10:00 A.M. 

in the Council Chambers of the Government Office Building, Salisbury, Maryland, in conformity with Section 311(d) of the Charter of Wicomico County, on the following Bill, which was introduced for consideration at a Legislative Session of said County for the year 2020. The following Bill may be called for final reading and consideration commencing immediately after the aforesaid public hearing. Legislative Bill No. 2020-13: AN ACT to extend the Moratorium on the issuance of building permits for a tank to be used to store a waste byproduct (DAF Material) of the treatment of Wastewater pursuant to Wicomico County Code Chapters 225, 125 and 128. If the foregoing Bill No. 2020-13 is enacted, it will take effect sixty (60) days from the date it becomes law, subject to the referendum provisions of the Charter of Wicomico County, Maryland
